PROPERTY developer Filinvest marked two important milestones that further cemented its presence in Iloilo City and the rest of Panay Island – the groundbreaking of One Spatial Iloilo amenity area and the inauguration of Filinvest’s Futura Branch Office, held July 22, 2017 at R. Mapa St., Tabucan, Mandurriao district.

“The groundbreaking marks the start of construction of the Clubhouse, Swimming Pool, kiddie park and basketball court facilities which will allow condo residents to experience the Futura Brand of quality and affordable lifestyle living right within the city,” said Tristan Las Marias, Filinvest Senior Vice President for VisMin Cluster.

Las Marias, together with Iloilo City Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog, Senior Project Engineer Hyacinth Herrera, Futura Homes Branch Manager Louie Carandang, Architect Art Butac, and LBC Builders Corp. President Engr Larry Cruz led the ceremonies.

He explained that One Spatial Iloilo is Filinvest’s first low-density Medium Rise Building Community development in Iloilo and Panay. It features cluster of mid-rise condominium buildings with spacious units in a secured community, boasts of common areas, refreshing landscapes and modern units overlooking the majestic Iloilo River. The project adapts the brand’s cast-in-place quality touchstone.

On the other hand, Futura Homes is the valued homes division of Filinvest that aims to build quality and affordable residential units – condominium or housing units, within city center locations.

The Futura Branch office is Filinvest’s first in Iloilo and Panay.

“As we officially open our Futura Branch office in Iloilo City, we also mark the beginning of our mission to extend our Filinvest-brand of customer service quality first-hand to our business partners and customers of all Filinvest projects from Iloilo and the rest of our places in Panay,” said Las Marias.

Las Marias is looking forward to partnerships with the government as he expects the unstoppable development in the city. He cited One Spatial Iloilo’s success in securing a good share of the market.

“Iloilo’s economy is very vibrant and is considered to be one of the fastest growing cities in the Visayas. The favorable business climate also makes investors like us feel welcome, so I would like to commend your local government. It has been very successful in attracting and nurturing big developers to invest and grow its business in the city. Filinvest had the same experience too in Iloilo,” he said.

“Despite our competition, One Spatial Iloilo has been successful to secure a good share of the market,” he stressed.

With the success of One Spatial Iloilo, Las Marias announced that the firm will launch a new project soon in Leganes.

“With full confidence and prospects of Iloilo and the rest of Panay, we will continue to explore new sites for expansion. With more projects, we will be able to build more homes and fulfill more dreams in this part of the country,” he stressed.

Mabilog, on his part, assured Filinvest of the city government’s support through the simplified Business Permit and Licensing System.

“I am sure as well that the Ilonggos are very excited to have your development here. I am certain that your company will set the trend among the property conscious by offering them quality products within their budget,” Mabilog said.

Mabilog stressed that through good governance, Iloilo City continues to attract investors.

“We will continue to develop the trust between the investors, the city government and the Ilonggos because it is only this that we could only attain what we want to be – and that is to be one of the most liveable cities in the country today,” Mabilog stressed.
